Tourism industry, are you really ready?
Kitajska je postala vodilna turistična velesila, zato je Svetovna turistična organizacija (UNWTO) letošnje leto razglasila za leto kitajskega turizma. Zaradi hitro rastočega življenjskega standarda in krepitve kitajskega srednjega razreda, ki si lahko privošči tudi potovanja na druge celine, se bo v roku enega samega desetletja število Kitajcev, ki potujejo v druge države, podvojilo (od 100 milijonov leta 2010 do 200 milijonov do leta 2020).
Drugo pomembno sporočilo je, da so Kitajci največji potrošniki med mednarodnimi turisti, zato se velja potruditi, da si bo lahko odrezalo kos pogače pri privabljanju teh turistov tudi slovensko turistično gospodarstvo gostov. Kitajski gostje postajajo vse zahtevnejši in od gostiteljev pričakujejo, da poznajo njihove osnovne navade in želje – in prav o tem bo govor na seminarju, ki ga ponujamo v Mariboru [1]. Udeleženci bodo ob vrhunskih strokovnjakih spoznali osnovne izzive, ki se pojavljajo ob srečanju dveh tako različnih kultur in prejeli nasvete, kako svojo ponudbo temu segmentu gostov prilagoditi.
Seminar bo potekal v celoti v angleščini, brez prevajanja v slovenščino
v stavbi EPF na Razlagovi 20 v Mariboru.
Namenjen je ponudnikom nastanitev, potovalnim agencijam, lokalnim in regionalnim turističnim organizacijam in vsem, ki jih zanimata kitajska kultura in turizem.

Kotizacija:
Znaša 35 EUR na osebo [2] in je lahko tako nizka zato, ker krijemo le stroške pogostitev (za kosilo bomo seveda ponudili kitajsko hrano), saj je financiranje predavateljev v celoti prevzel Konfucijev inštitut. Predavatelji:
Darja Saksida Bogataj je vodja projektov na Konfucijevem inštitutu v Ljubljani, ki je bil pred 23 leti ustanovljen z namenom poučevanja kitajskega jezika in spoznavanja kitajske kulture, promoviranja poslovnih priložnosti ter povezovanja dveh kultur, Kitajske in Slovenske.
Prof. dr. Sonja Sibila Lebe je na EPF predstojnica študijske Turizem in predstojnica Katedre za mednarodno ekonomijo in poslovanje. Vodi projekte s področja turizma, se ukvarja z ekologijo v turizmu (certificiranje za eko marjetico) in vodi na EPF aktivnosti s področja turizma pod imenom TURIZMOSKOP.
Tomazs Janczak, Chinese Outbound Travel
Tomasz Janczak began his career in late 90’s, being responsible for Business Development of western technology companies in the region of Central Europe. After holding various managerial positions across hotel technology companies, Tomasz joined Avvio in 2009 as Director of Sales Central Eastern Europe and ignited the development of this brand in the Region. In 2011, he joined Mamaison Hotels& Residences as Corporate E-Commerce Director and took responsibility for development and implementation of the e-commerce strategy and brand reputation management at the group level. Since 2015, Tomasz has been a member of the Management Team at Plateno International Europe, part of Chinese hotel company, which manages globally more than 4400 hotels under 16 brands. As VP for Digital Growth, Tomasz was responsible for all digital initiatives and launch of new projects which will open unlimited Chinese travel market to European hoteliers. Since December 2017, Tomasz runs his own consulting firm „Chinese Outbound Travel”, which helps travel-related businesses to generate a better experience for Chinese guests, and better revenue for themselves.
Ding Zhonghui
Ding Zhonghui began her career as a volounteer teacher at the Confucius Institute Ljubljana in 2012. Till 2017, she was the main teacher being responsible for quality control in teaching Chinese languge and culture. She was also responsible for the business culture in-company trainings, as well as for indivual consultations for the business comunity. Currently she is a teaching assistant of International business at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, Department of International Business, where she teaches the International business seminar and How to do business with China. By living and working closely between Slovenia (EU) and China, she has developed strong capabilities in understanding cross-culture similarities and differences through the “lens” of language. Her main research interest lies in cross-culture studies on young-adult consumers’ behaviors, comparison between Eastern and Western cultures in terms of international business, the impact of language on business etc.
