Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese

The TEI of Peloponnese is one of the 15 Technological Educational Institutes established in Greece. It is the most important and rapidly developing educational and research center in this region of Peloponnese. The operation of the TEI started in 1988 as an off-campus faculty of the TEI of Patras. The first department of the TEI of Kalamata was the Electrical Engineering Department and started its operation in the spring semester of the academic year 1987-88.

In October 1989, the TEI of Kalamata with two schools was established: The School of Agricultural Technology and School of Management and Economy.

In 2013, the TEI of Kalamata was renamed TEI Peloponnese. Nowadays, the Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese is a tertiary level institution that offers studies in important scientific fields with very good career opportunities.
