We're excited to greet our second generation of international students enrolled in our English programmes at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor.

The Welcome Day was a memorable event, offering a warm introduction to our academic environment, the vibrant student life in Slovenia, and the many opportunities for personal and professional growth.

During the Welcome Day, students received essential information about:
- Studying at the Faculty: An overview of the academic resources, research opportunities, and support services.
- Student Life in Slovenia: Insights into life in this beautiful country, including tips on adjusting to the local culture and navigating day-to-day living.
- Opportunities for Growth: Exploring the diverse opportunities available through the Faculty's global network, internships, and development projects.

The students were addressed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Polona Tominc, Prof. Dr. Jernej Belak, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, and Prof. Dr. Igor Vrečko, Vice-Dean for Cooperation with the Environment and Development Projects.
