In June 2026, the Danube4SEecosystem (Interreg Danube) project concluded. As a project partner, the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, celebrates the transnational results and the strong regional cooperation achieved across the Danube area.

Main project outputs, among others, developed Transnational D4SEE Skills Gap Assessment Tools for the social economy sector in the Danube Region; the co‑designed DS4SEE Capacity Building Program for sustainable and resilient social enterprises and local public authorities; the Innovative D4SEE digital training platform for social enterprises; the co‑designed and piloted Danube4SEecosystem Program for effective Mentor Training; and the jointly developed and tested D4SEE Social Economy Support Methodologies for implementing collaborative models between social enterprises and local public authorities based on pilot actions.

The faculty will continue to use the project's results even after the project ends. Thus, it will uptake one of the developed solutions, namely the Innovative D4SEE digital training platform. Starting with the new semester, the platform will become part of regular study activities, offering additional materials to help students strengthen their competencies in social and impact entrepreneurship. Existing courses will be enriched with platform content, while additionally, workshops on impact entrepreneurship will be offered to students during the semester, in addition to their regular academic obligations.

This formal uptake secures continued access to the project’s learning materials and tools, supporting future cohorts and ongoing collaboration with regional stakeholders to promote the social economy.
