Researchers’ bibliographies

One of the activities of the Centre for Library and Information Services of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) is the compilation of researchers’ and professional associates’ bibliographies within the COBISS system.

Bibliographies are created based on original documents in printed or electronic form. In accordance with the Typology of Documents/Works for Managing Bibliographies in the COBISS System, the authors propose the classification of bibliographic entries in cooperation with their bibliographer and the editors of serial publications. The relevance and accuracy of entries are verified and approved by the Central Specialised Information Centres (OSICs) authorized by ARIS and competent for individual scientific fields.

TYPES OF MATERIAL

Authors are responsible for providing the necessary documentation for inclusion in their bibliography.

The following types of material are included in the bibliography:

Printed sources

  • Monographs or chapters in monographs – the complete monograph,
  • Conference papers – proceedings in printed or electronic form,
  • Articles and other publications in journals – the entire journal issue.

Electronic sources

  • Conference papers – link to the conference website and publication site,
  • Monographs or chapters in them – link to the online source,
  • Scientific articles – link to the online source.

Unpublished works

  • Lectures at foreign universities (title of lecture/module, host institution, date/period),
  • Events (conferences, round tables, participation in programme committees, etc.),
  • Editorial work and reviews (journal ISSN, role, and period).

Monitoring of Research Activity in Slovenia (ARIS)

Documents, databases, and lists are considered in the categorization of publications.

For UM FEB researchers, a Submission Form for Managing Researchers’ Bibliographies at UM FEB is available. The form should be completed and submitted with the materials for entry to the Bibliographic Management and Research Support Office. It is accessible via Microsoft Forms (link available on the FEB intranet under Forms).

Personal bibliographies are also prepared for external collaborators, but this service is charged according to the current price list.
