Price List

1. LENDING OF MATERIALS

1.1 MEMBERSHIP FEE

University of Maribor (UM) students pay the fee upon enrollment in the academic year, UM students without active status upon renewal of student services, and all others upon registration with the library. The membership is valid for UM students for the current academic year, and for others for one calendar year from the payment date.

• Students of the University of Maribor (paid upon enrollment), secondary school students over 18 years of age €9.68
• Persons without active student status at UM (paid upon renewal of UM student services)
• Students of other universities and institutions, pensioners €13.45
• Other users €15.89
• Three-month membership €6.11

Persons under 18 years of age and unemployed persons are exempt from paying the membership fee in accordance with Paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 5 of the Decree on Basic Library Services (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 29/2003).

1.3 LIBRARY CARD

€5.00 (ordered via UKM – University Library Maribor)

1.4 OVERDUE NOTICES (per item)

• 1st notice: €2.15 (7 days after due date)
• 2nd notice: €5.00 (14 days after first notice)
• 3rd notice: €8.50 (21 days after second notice)
• Final notice before legal action: €15.00 (1 month after third notice; loss of borrowing rights in all UM libraries)
• Legal action: actual court costs

1.5 LOST BOOK

The price of the lost book will be adjusted for annual price increases or a replacement copy + processing fee.

2. PHOTOCOPYING AND PRINTING

• Printing: €0.10 per page (in the reading room)

3. INFORMATION SERVICES

• Thematic searches with professional assistance: printing cost €0.10 per page
• Preparation of bibliography for external collaborators:
  1 librarian hour – €27.64 + 22% VAT
• Processing of article with abstract: 30–60 minutes
• Processing of monograph: 45 minutes
• Processing of performed work: 30 minutes

 

4. INTERLIBRARY LOAN

• Book – 1 item (sent by post): €7.00
• Article – up to 20 pages: €3.00 (each additional page: €0.10)

VAT Payment

Where it is not explicitly stated that VAT is included in the price, VAT is not charged in accordance with Article 42 of the Value Added Tax Act (ZDDV-1-UPB3, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 13/2011 with amendments up to No. 72/2019).

The Price List of Library Services of UM EPF was approved by the Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor, at its session on October 7–8, 2025, and is valid from October 8, 2025 onward.
