FEB International Week

Every year, the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Maribor organises its traditional International Week. During the International Week, the Faculty hosts many foreign lecturers and researchers who give guest lectures in English for the students of our Faculty. This allows our students to learn about different approaches to lectures and different perspectives on the topics they hear about during regular lectures, and they are often exposed to practical examples from the countries or regions where the guest lecturers come from.

An International Scientific Conference is also held during the International Week. Of course, we also organise a varied social programme where our guests can explore the city of Maribor, visit museums and other attractions, and enjoy Slovenian cuisine and culture.

The International Week and the International Scientific Conference allow the faculty to establish key links for scientific research activities in their region and globally.

The International week program comprises lectures, presentations, workshops and round-table discussions delivered by visiting lecturers from our partner universities on various topics connected to economics and business studies.

The participants of the International week are lecturers of business and economics subjects from our partner institutions. International week is also open to non-academic staff. The students attending the lectures are Slovene and international studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
