The International Relations Office at FEB was established in 1999 when the Faculty entered the SOCRATES programe. It is responsible for the administration of exchange programs and for student and teaching staff mobility. A major task is the counselling of students regarding exchange programs, international scholarships, placements, postgraduate education, seminars and summer schools.
The International Relations Office aims to ensure good quality exchange of students and teaching staff at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). Our activities contribute to the vision of the FEB, which strives to provide its students with the best education possible. We are aware that strong international co-operation is an important factor in achieving this goal. We believe that by enabling the students to participate in good quality exchange, we significantly contribute to their personal development, broaden their horizons and give them the opportunity to gain valuable life experience. We also prepare them to co-operate with other cultures and to face and deal with new challenges, all of which are, in addition to professional knowledge, highly sought skills on today’s job market. We are convinced that by facilitating teaching staff mobility we add to the improvement of teaching methods, to the development of new study programs, to the exchange of scientific experiences and to the increased scientific research cooperation.
Activities of the international relations office at FEB comprise
- Informing students about the possibilities of student exchange and other types international cooperation (seminars, congresses, conferences, summer schools, etc.),
- promoting studies abroad;
- dealing with and assisting students with the exchange related formalities,
