Assesment and grading system
EXAMS-RELATED INFORMATION
As the exchange student at FEB, you have to fulfil your study obligations in the same way as other FEB students. You can see the process for taking examinations at FEB in the infographic below. In case the curriculum does not offer knowledge assessment options such as midterms, group projects, research papers, or other forms of assessment, then you receive your final grade for the course in the final examination.
Step 1: Login into AIPS
Go to the AIPS portal website ( https://aips.um.si/en/PrijavaEN.aspx ), where you log in to the portal with the Digital Identity that you are using during your exchange at FEB. Your username and password are written on the Digital Identity document which you received at the start of your exchange at FEB.
Step 2: Registering for an examination
When you log in to your profile, you will see the Exams – Apply/Cancel application tab on the first page for reference see screenshot below (you can click on it to enlarge it). Under the Courses tab, you will be able to find all the courses for which you can register for the exam.
As you can see in the screenshot below (you can click on it to enlarge it), you will see all the relevant information regarding the exam for each subject you are enrolled in: the Exam Location (the lecture room number), the Examiner’s name, and the Application Deadline.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TAKING EXAMINATIONS AT FEB
Exam dates and exam registration deadlines will only be available when the exam dates are announced. You will be informed when that happens.
You must register for the exam at least 5 DAYS BEFORE the exam date. Late registration is not possible. Also, you can take the exam for each subject 2 TIMES per semester. If for any reason you will not be able to take the exam you registered for, you must withdraw from that exam AT LEAST 2 DAYS BEFORE THE EXAM IS SCHEDULED. If you do not withdraw from the exam, you will automatically FAIL that exam and will receive the F grade.
Any cheating in exams at FEB is STRICTLY forbidden and is punishable by an immediate NEGATIVE GRADE (your final mark will be an F). In addition, you will be prohibited from taking the exam on the next exam date, which means that you will automatically FAIL THIS COURSE at FEB.
GRADING SYSTEM AT FEB
Under the Slovene system grades are given on a scale from 0 to 10, the minimum passing grade being 6.
The official Transcripts of Records are issued by the International Relations Office both in Slovene and ECTS grade scale (A to F). The transcripts are sent directly to the incoming students International Relations Offices after the end of all exams at Faculty of Economics and Business.
