Guidelines on the Use of Generative AI

The use of artificial intelligence, particularly generative tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and others, brings numerous new opportunities to educational and research environments. Within the fields of economics and business studies, these tools can support pedagogical activities, professional work, and research endeavours. However, their use must adhere to principles of responsibility, ethics, and academic integrity. To this end, we have developed Guidelines for the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process and Research Activities at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor (UM FEB).

The Senate of UM FEB reviewed the Guidelines at its session on November 22, 2024.
