Alumni

Our graduates, who are already successfully building their professional careers with a degree from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), come together through the FEB Alumni Club. The club serves as a professional, academic, and social hub for graduates of all study programs and generations who have enriched their knowledge at FEB.

Through this community, we strengthen ties between graduates and the faculty and deepen collaboration with the business sector and other institutions. These connections are aimed at generating mutual professional and personal benefits through the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Thanks to this ongoing dialogue with practice, the faculty gains a deeper understanding of real-world challenges in the economy and society. This has contributed to the development of high-quality study programs for new generations of students. Many alumni members hold prominent managerial positions in public and private organizations in Slovenia and abroad.

President of Alumni FEB

Mr. Toni Balažič, MBA, began his career at Spem d.o.o. as Project and Development Director, where he also established and led the London School of Public Relations (LSPR Slovenia). He later joined Petrol as Marketing Director and worked at A.T. Kearney as a consultant, focusing on energy and consumer goods and overseeing marketing for Southeast Europe.

He graduated from FEB in 1997 with a degree in Marketing, earned an MBA from IEDC – Bled School of Management in 2005, and became CEO of Fructal in 2007. In 2010, he was appointed CEO of the Žito Group and Žito d.d., and in 2012, he became CEO of Mercator. From 2017 to 2025, he has been CEO and director of Panvita d.d.
